Fapesp magazine highlighted the startup Protech - P&D in its bulletin entitled “Biodegradable fabric inactivates bacteria and viruses such as SARS-CoV-2”. Protech was recognized for its biocidal material, for filtering harmful agents through its developed nanostructured system, strategically contributing to its effectiveness, fighting and inhibiting the coronavirus. Innovation through nanotechnology was the result of an important project for the foundation of Fapesp - Innovative Research in Small Businesses Program (Pipe - Level 1).
